Spring time means more sun! Longer daylight and warmer weather are always the things I look forward to the most every spring. Reflecting on my gratitude toward the Sun during the Spring time inspired me to share more about Sun Salutations with all of you. I encourage you to try practicing Sun Salutations on your own this Spring!
What is a Sun Salutation?
Those who practice yoga regularly may be familiar with Sun Salutation - the following series of yoga poses, guided by our breath. The purpose of Sun Salutation is to energize and create heat in the body.

Why should we do Sun Salutations?
Sun Salutations are really great cardio. Also, the poses which comprise Sun Salutation (and the way they are linked together) allows this series of poses to lengthen, strengthen, flex and extend a majority of the main muscles in the body.
Namaste,
Leah
