What is your WHY?


What is motivation exactly? Well it can be very simple in terms of what drives us to maintain or achieve goals. For some it might be just having that one end goal of losing weight, looking better, fitting into that one pair of jeans. What if you don’t have that motivation? Trust me, a 4AM alarm has NOT always been the easiest thing! Just because you have days where you feel sluggish with lack of motivation doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong! Regardless, in the long run knowing where your motivation comes from and what your why is will be that consistent push you need! Speaking of consistency, let’s talk about staying consistent! We all show up for difference reasons. Consistency isn’t just about the workout format, but the schedule factor plays a big role in many of our lives. Lucky for us, Numa has created a class time format for us to develop the habit of carving out those 45 minutes for US as the SAME time every day.  We all have such busy lives aside from Numa and its important that we routinely show up for US plus we all know how AMAZING we feel after a kick butt workout!!  Commitment is the real center here! So, when those burpees get difficult, or you’re running out of reps to give remind yourself of why you started this journey, why you walked through those doors to find out what Numa was all about and remind yourself of YOUR WHY. I think of my future when I think of my WHY. As an organ donor, I can only hope to have the strongest organs to be passed along to someone in need when that time in life comes. We all have a WHY, so dig deep, show up and push through. After all, you get one life to live, let’s make it a healthy one!
